Lotsa Pictures from Jamie's Wedding!

by 6/22/2008 5:23 PM

I got to play bridesmaid again and this time it's for my good ol' pal Jamie back in Wisconsin and I brought back good ideas to share with you!

First of all, my Jamie is soooo...pretty in her wedding gown! (Looking at these pictures again really makes me missing everybody! Can't wait until I get to see them again (hopefully...soon??)).

Her personal flowers and the centerpiece flowers were created by Evolutions in Design of Wausau, WI.
I think they did a great job in capturing Jamie's theme color of light blue and chocolate using Hydrangeas, Delphiniums, Roses, Hypericum Berries, Freesias and Ti leaves collar.

Here's a picture of Brook (one of the Maid of Honors), Julie and I chillin' at the bench...(waiting for our turn for the pictures).

The bridesmaids wore gowns by Alexia Designs. I cannot remember which shop in Wausau we got these from though. :_(

It was one very gorgeous day for a wedding, I tell ya! Sunny and breezy...it was just perfect!
Her ceremony was held at the beautiful Paine Art Center and Gardens, Oshkosh, WI.
Check out some of the pictures I took of the location:

Her reception was held at the Park Plaza Hotel, Downtown Oshkosh. She had about...18 tables, I think. Half of that got candles, the other half got flowers (good money saving tips# 1). Jamie and Dawn (her mom) are very crafty and I was not surprised when I saw their awesome handmade picture holders.

Here are the list of materials to make these picture holders:
Soldering Wire (you don't need a wire cutter to bend these; they are already very flexible)
Beads
Different kinds of Charms
Clips
Tulle
Ribbons

For the pictures, they simply printed those out with a regular inkjet printers and laminated them...And voila!

Here are the pictures of her floral centerpieces (by Evolutions in Design):

Hope you found these ideas helpful for your own wedding planning! If you are going to have your big day in Central Wisconsin, do stop by Evolutions in Design and the Paine Art Center and Gardens! They are awesome! ^_^

Congratulations again to my Jamie and Tim!
Many happy wishes always!
Love you both! ^_^

Found this cool rendition of Stevie Wonder's "Isn't She Lovely".
Enjoy!

A little gift for Marigold

Howdy folks!

I made this arrangement for fun and gave it to Marigold Ktichen BYOB to display ^_^.
Hope you enjoy it!

I always like to have the opportunity to do pretty much whatever I want and however I want to do when it comes to creating my little artwork. I got bashed last year by a few professional florists and I will never forget that. Everyday I am very grateful to those who bashed me because without them, I will not stand up stronger today. I have learned a lot from reading and researching on my own and I do believe that it's okay to simply be myself. Everyday I also tell myself that must share my knowledge to those who ask and lend a helping hand to those in need. That's how I am going to run my business and that's how I am going to walk my life in general.

Thank you for those bash-o-nators and a huge thank you for those who have always believed in me!

Enjoy the music too! ^_^
XL is an alternative rock band from Taiwan. They're awesome...

Neapolitan Ice Cream

by 6/5/2008 10:08 PM

Okay, so yesterday I made an arrangement for my office and I think it turned out pretty good.
I think this is what I'm going to do in my down time, just do different kind of arrangements for fun and put it on display at work. ^_^

And since this arrangement reminds me of the Neapolitan ice cream with the chocolate and pink color, here's "아이스크림 [Ice Cream]" by a South Korean rapper: MC [MC Mong].

A perfect catchy song to begin a fun summer! Enjoy! ^_^
